Miami Attractions as main Florida must do tours

There are so many Miami attractions to see that you might miss some good ones if you don’t do some research online before your next visit to Southern Florida. I am from Dover, Delaware and I vacation in Florida at least once a year. I usually stay at the Claridge Hotel on 35th Street and Collins Avenue. This is a very nice Spanish Mediterranean architecturally themed hotel. It’s perfect for me because it is far enough away from the hustle and bustle and noise of South Beach but yet conveniently close enough if I want to go down there and get crazy. Usually on my one week vacation in Miami Beach I only take one or two nights to go out and party.

The reason for this is because there are so many daytime Miami attractions to see and I don’t want to oversleep and miss out on seeing new sights or trying new activities. As I stated earlier it is best to plan your vacation online before heading down there. Even though I have been traveling to Miami for over 10 years I still find new things I want to see when I research my vacation. That should give you some idea of how much there is to do down there. When picking the attractions that I want to see I usually try to find a common theme.

For example I might choose to do a week of seeing historical attractions. So I might Plan a week of seeing things like Wolfsonian Museum, the Historical Museum of Southern Florida, the Bay of Pigs Museum, The Holocaust Memorial, The Venetian Pool, And the Charles Deering Estate. Or as another example I might do a strictly water themed Miami attraction vacation.

On this type of vacation I will do things like search for Manatees in the wild, Scuba dive artificial reefs, swim with dolphins, and rent a waveRunner. If you are vacationing with your children then of course you will have to cater to their needs. This by no means says that you will not have fun also. Some of the outstanding things you can do with your children are Parrot Jungle Island, the Lion Country Safari, Gator Park, the Miami Seaquarium, and the Miami Metro Zoo. All of the attractions I’ve listed are with in a 45 minute drive of Miami Beach and many of them you can get to within 10 minutes.

One time I did a strictly action and adventure themed vacation down in Miami. This was one of the most fun Miami attraction themed vacations that I’ve taken. On this vacation I went skydiving over the Everglades, I went parasailing in the ocean, I went kayaking and snorkeling in Biscayne Bay, and I charted a deep-sea fishing day trip.

Now granted this was one of the more expensive vacations I’ve taken to southern Florida but I have to say it was worth every time. Luckily after this vacation I still had another weeks vacation that I spent back home just resting. You can even do a theme where you don’t have to spend hardly any money.

On such a vacation you can take walks down the boardwalk, have a picnic in one of the many parks scattered throughout South Beach, go off road mountain biking at the Goleta State Park, or go fly a kite at Haul over Beach. All of the Miami attractions I just named are either free or practically free.

As you can see there are a myriad of things to do when vacationing in Miami tours. There is definitely something for everyone to try. There are attractions for single people, families, wealthy people, or people on a budget. Just go online and decide what type of Miami Attractions vacation you would like to have and I’m sure that you can find it in Miami.
